Job Description
Install digital/smart electricity meters at residential, commercial, and industrial consumer locations.
Remove existing conventional meters and replace them with smart meters as per company guidelines.
Ensure proper wiring, sealing, and commissioning of smart meters.
Configure and activate meters using the designated mobile application or handheld device.
Test installed meters to verify correct functioning and communication with the central system.
Identify and troubleshoot basic electrical faults during installation.
Follow all electrical safety procedures and use appropriate PPE while working.
Maintain daily installation targets and complete assigned work within deadlines.
Collect and upload installation details, photographs, GPS coordinates, and customer information through the mobile application.
