Job Description
Hearing Aid Specialist (or Audiologist) centers on evaluating hearing loss, prescribing the right amplification devices, and fitting and maintaining hearing aids to improve a patient's quality of life.Key ResponsibilitiesAssessments: Administer hearing tests to determine the type and degree of auditory function.Selection: Recommend the best hearing device (e.g., BTE, ITE, or RITE styles) considering the patient's lifestyle, budget, and hearing loss level.
