Job Description: Sales Executive - B2B Industrial Sales

Company: Lubricant Solutions (Industrial Lubricant Distributor)

Experience: 2-5 years in B2B sales

Location: Ludhiana, Punjab (with travel to nearby industrial clusters)


Role Overview

Drive direct sales of industrial lubricants (hydraulic oils, gear oils, greases, specialty fluids) to manufacturing units in textile, auto parts, engineering, and allied industries. Build relationships with plant managers, maintenance heads, and purchase decision-makers while delivering solution-based selling with technical support.


Key Responsibilities

Field Sales & Lead Generation: Identify and acquire new B2B clients (manufacturing units, OEMs, job-work units) through field visits, referrals, and industrial cluster mapping


Relationship Management: Build long-term partnerships with plant heads, maintenance managers, and purchase teams; manage flexible credit cycles and repeat orders


Solution Selling: Conduct oil trials, technical audits, and application guidance; proactively solve operational problems (machine downtime, cost optimization)


Revenue Target Achievement: Meet monthly/quarterly sales targets; convert 25%+ of leads into confirmed orders


Territory Expansion: Cover Ludhiana and nearby areas (Mandi Gobindgarh, Jalandhar, Khanna); leverage organic sales channels and referrals


Market Intelligence: Track competitor activity (PSU brands, MNCs, local players); provide feedback on pricing, quality, and customer needs


Required Qualifications

Experience: 2-5 years in B2B sales (industrial products, lubricants, automotive parts, or engineering supplies preferred)


Education: Diploma/B.Tech (Mechanical/Chemical) or MBA/BBA preferred


Skills: Field sales expertise, negotiation, relationship building, basic technical understanding of lubricants/industrial applications


Attributes: Self-motivated, target-driven, comfortable with daily field travel, strong communication in Hindi & English
