Job Description – Store Incharge (Garment Industry)Job Title: Store Incharge

Department: Store

Reporting To: Factory Manager / Operations Manager

• Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and record all incoming materials (Fabric, Trims, Accessories, Packing Materials & Consumables).
• Issue materials to production against approved Material Requisition Slips (MRS).
• Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/Excel and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
• Follow FIFO and proper storage practices.
• Monitor minimum stock levels and coordinate with the Purchase Department for replenishment.
• Maintain all store documents, including GRN, MRS, Stock Register, Gate Pass, and Delivery Challans.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, housekeeping (5S), and material safety.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, and Accounts for smooth material flow.
• Prevent material loss, pilferage, and unauthorized movement.
• Qualification & ExperienceGraduate/Diploma in any discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Store Incharge in a garment/textile manufacturing company.
