Site Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Site Engineers to oversee and manage construction and renovation projects at Madurai location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects meet design, quality, safety, and timeline requirements. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to efficient and high-quality project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Supervision & Quality Control

• Oversee daily site activities, ensuring all work aligns with project plans and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to maintain project timelines and resolve site issues.

1. Technical Support & Problem-Solving

• Provide technical guidance and support to site teams to overcome construction challenges.
• Address design and construction adjustments on-site and consult with project management when necessary.

1. Material Management & Coordination

• Coordinate and manage material deliveries, ensuring accurate and timely availability.
• Assess and verify materials on-site for quality and quantity.

1. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain detailed reports of daily activities, site conditions, and project progress.
• Document changes to project scope, materials used, and any delays for project analysis.

1. Client & Stakeholder Communication

• Act as a liaison between clients, contractors, and project management to address concerns and provide updates.
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders by maintaining transparent and timely communication.

1. Safety Management

• Implement and enforce site safety regulations, conducting regular audits to ensure a safe work environment.
• Identify potential hazards and take preventive measures to ensure the safety of all on-site personnel.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in a site engineering role, ideally within property restoration or renovation projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to adapt to changing site conditions.
• Good communication skills in Tamil and English for coordination with local teams and stakeholders.
