Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Shop Operations
- Serve Customers — Attend to retail customers, understand their needs, and recommend the right paints and products confidently
- Handle Wholesale Clients — Manage orders from contractors and builders — take orders, confirm quantities, and coordinate dispatch
- Billing & Cash — Handle billing, cash collection, and daily accounts accurately and honestly
- Stock & Inventory — Monitor stock levels, track fast-moving products, and alert the owner when reordering is needed
- Shop Upkeep — Keep the shop clean, well-organised, and well-displayed at all times
- WhatsApp & Calls — Respond to customer enquiries on WhatsApp and phone promptly and professionally
- Daily Reporting — Share end-of-day sales summary and stock updates with the owner every evening
Content Creation & Video Editing
8. Edit Daily — Take the founder's raw footage and turn it into polished Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and videos with cuts, transitions, captions, music, and effects
9. Manage Publishing — Upload, schedule, and post content across Instagram and YouTube with the right captions, hashtags, and timing
10. Organise Content — Maintain a content calendar, store raw files properly, and keep the content pipeline running smoothly
11. Study Trends — Watch what is working on Instagram and YouTube and bring fresh ideas to the table every week
12. Be the Right Hand — When the founder hands you a raw video, it comes back ready to publish — consistently and on time
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Currently living in Madurai
- Unmarried, age 24 to 36
- Graduate in any stream
- Honest and trustworthy — handling cash, stock, and content daily
- Disciplined and punctual — shop opens on time, content goes out on time
- Knows video editing apps like CapCut, VN, InShot, or Premiere — self-taught is perfectly fine
- Passionate about social media, reels, and content trends
- Confident with a smartphone — WhatsApp, billing apps, Instagram, YouTube
- Has a two-wheeler for commuting
- Good with people — friendly with customers, professional with wholesale clients
- Comfortable working 6 days a week including Sundays
- Interested in fashion, business, technology, and personal branding
- Respectful, committed, and ready to learn everything from the ground up
