Job Description
Position: Retail Store ManagerAbout the RoleThe Retail Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, driving sales performance, ensuring excellent customer service, managing store staff, and maintaining operational standards. The role requires strong leadership, team management, and retail sales expertise to achieve business goals.
- Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business PerformanceAchieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Drive store revenue through effective sales strategies.
- Monitor store KPIs and take corrective actions to improve performance.
- Ensure maximum conversion of walk-in customers into buyers.
- Identify opportunities for business growth within the local market.
- Customer ExperienceDeliver exceptional customer service and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer queries, concerns, and escalations professionally.
- Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Ensure a positive shopping experience for every customer.
- Team ManagementRecruit, train, and mentor store employees.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
- Motivate the team to achieve sales and service objectives.
- Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and productivity.
- Store OperationsEnsure smooth day-to-day store operations.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards as per company guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
- Ensure accurate billing, cash handling, and store documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and store presentation standards.
- Inventory & ComplianceManage stock movement and minimize inventory discrepancies.
- Conduct regular stock audits and inventory checks.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and compliance requirements.
- RequirementsBachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in retail sales and store management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer handling abilities.
- Good understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and sales reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems is an advantage.
- Age: Up to 32 years (as per company requirement).
