Job Description
- Overall planning, execution, and monitoring of all civil works in the switchyard.
- Review and approval of civil drawings, layouts, and construction methodologies.
- Coordination with electrical, structural, and client teams for smooth project execution.
- Supervision of earthwork, grading, road works, drainage systems, cable trenches, foundations, control room buildings, and boundary wall/fencing works.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedule.
- Resource planning and management of manpower, machinery, materials, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements and site HSE regulations.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction.
- Review contractor bills, quantities, and work measurements.
- Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections, testing, and documentation.
- Manage client, consultant, and vendor interactions related to civil activities.
- Identify risks, delays, and cost impacts and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure timely completion of civil works to support equipment erection and commissioning activities.
- Must worked in switchyard projects
