Medical Representative (MR)

JOB-DESCRIPTION: MEDICAL REPRESENTATIVE (M.R)

1. Relevant Experience

1–5 years of experience in cardiology, critical care, or medical device/pharma sales.

Existing relationships with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, physicians, and cath labs are preferred.

2. Product Knowledge

Understanding of cardiology products, devices, or pharmaceuticals.

Ability to explain product features, benefits, and clinical applications.

3. Customer Network

Strong contacts with hospitals, cardiac centers, cath labs, and clinics in the assigned territory.

Ability to generate new business while maintaining existing accounts.

4. Sales Skills

Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Strong negotiation and closing skills.

Ability to identify business opportunities and convert leads into sales.

5. Communication Skills

Excellent verbal and presentation skills.

Ability to communicate confidently with doctors, hospital management, and procurement teams.

6. Territory Management

Effective route planning and customer visit scheduling.

Efficient coverage of the assigned territory.

Daily reporting through CRM/KIT 19 or the company's reporting system.

7. Relationship Building

Ability to build long-term relationships with healthcare professionals.

Professional follow-up and excellent customer service.

8. Personal Qualities

Self-motivated and target-driven.

Honest, disciplined, and accountable.

Positive attitude and willingness to travel extensively.

9. Preferred Qualifications

Graduate in any discipline (B.Sc., B.Pharm., D.Pharm., Life Sciences, or equivalent preferred).

Good communication skills in English and the local language.

Valid driving license and willingness to travel.

Basic knowledge of MS Excel, CRM systems, and mobile reporting applications.
