Job Description
Job SummaryA Site Engineer is responsible for managing construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and according to design specifications and quality standards.
- Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise day-to-day construction activities at the site
- Ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and safety standards
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, consultants, and project managers
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports
- Check quality of materials and workmanship
- Manage manpower, equipment, and site resources
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues
- Ensure compliance with local building regulations and company policies
- Maintain site documentation, measurements, and billing records
- Support planning and scheduling of construction work
- Required SkillsKnowledge of construction methods and materials
- Understanding of AutoCAD and construction drawings
- Project coordination and problem-solving skills
- Communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of safety standards and site management
- Basic computer skills (Excel, MS Office)
- QualificationsDiploma/Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 1–5 years of experience in construction/site supervision (depending on role level)
- Preferred Software KnowledgeAutoCAD
- MS Excel
- Primavera / MS Project (preferred)
- Work LocationConstruction project sites
- Salary Range (India)Fresher: ₹1.5–4.2LPA
- Experienced: ₹2.5-4.2LPA+ depending on project and company
