Credit Officer
- Loan Assessment: Reviewing loan requests, analyzing financial data (cash flow, tax returns, balance sheets), and calculating risk ratios.
- Creditworthiness Evaluation: Determining the credit risk and ability to repay, often based on the 4 C's (Character, Capacity, Capital, Collateral).
- Documentation Management: Gathering, preparing, and maintaining updated documentation for loan applications.
- Decision Making: Approving or rejecting loan applications based on analysis and company policy.
- Portfolio Monitoring: Following up on loan payments, managing loan renewals, and monitoring compliance with terms.
- Customer Service: Acting as a point of contact for clients, advising on loan products, and explaining terms.
