Field Sales Executive

We're looking for a motivated field sales executive to help expand our retail network across South India.

• 📍 Role: Travel across assigned states to meet sports retailers, distributors, dealers, and institutional buyers.
• Generate new business and build long-term relationships.
• Present and sell VEGA's range of sportswear and activewear.
• Appoint new dealers and retailers.
• Follow up on leads and achieve monthly sales targets.

Provide market insights and competitor feedback.

1. Mandatory Core Skills (Non-Negotiable)

• Local language fluency is preferred; English is a necessity
• Basic English / Hindi: Ability to read product labels, understand company circulars, and use the sales reporting app.
• On-Field Mobility: Ownership of a valid two-wheeler driving licence and an Android smartphone for daily attendance and order logging.

2. Behavioral & Soft Skills (Fresher Fit)

• Active Listening & Pitching: Ability to introduce a product confidently without hesitating when speaking to strangers.
• Resilience & Grit: High energy levels to handle field rejections and complete 10-15 shop visits daily.
• Negotiation & Persuasion: Basic convincing power to clear old stock, pitch schemes, or secure a primary order.

3. Technical & Operational Skills

• Google Maps Navigation: Ability to follow routes, locate specific pin codes, and map assigned territories efficiently.
• Digital Literacy & Apps: Familiarity with smartphone apps to mark daily attendance, take orders, or update sales numbers.
• Basic Arithmetic: Quick mental math to calculate retail margins, discounts, cash collections, and daily balances.
