Job Description
The Dealer Sales Executive (DSE) will play a key role in driving sales at the dealership by connecting with customers, understanding their needs, and providing the best vehicle options. The DSE will ensure a seamless buying experience, meet sales targets, and contribute to the dealership's overall growth.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum educational qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Prior experience in sales (preferably in the automobile industry).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good understanding of the automobile market and products.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement:
- Greet customers visiting the dealership and understand their requirements.
- Build rapport and establish trust with potential buyers.
- Provide detailed information about vehicles, financing options, and services.
- Sales Process:
- Demonstrate vehicles and arrange test drives as needed.
- Assist customers in selecting the right vehicle model and configuration.
- Handle negotiations and close sales to achieve individual and team targets.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Ensure accurate completion of sales documentation.
- Assist customers with financing, registration, and insurance formalities.
- Maintain adherence to dealership policies and industry regulations.
- Market Analysis:
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and pricing.
- Provide insights and feedback to the sales manager to refine sales strategies.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
- Follow up with leads and maintain a robust customer database.
- Handle post-sale customer inquiries and resolve any concerns promptly.
- Strive to create a positive customer experience to encourage referrals and repeat business.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly sales reports to the sales manager.
- Monitor personal sales performance against targets.
