1. Access Control & Gate Management

• Verify and log all incoming/outgoing personnel, vehicles, and visitors

• Check employee ID cards and authorize entry/exit
• Manage contractor and vendor entry with proper documentation

2. Perimeter & Premises Security

• Conduct regular patrolling of the plant, warehouse, and boundary areas (Optional)
• Ensure all entry/exit points, gates, and fences are secure
• Prevent unauthorized access to restricted zones

3. Material Movement Control

• Verify material gate passes (inward and outward)
• Inspect vehicles (trucks, tempos) entering or leaving the premises
• Prevent theft, pilferage, or unauthorized removal of materials/assets. Physical checking
• Coordinate with PC/Dispatch for material movement documentation

4. Fire & Safety Compliance

• Know the location and operation of fire extinguishers and hydrants
• Assist in fire drills and emergency evacuations
• Report fire hazards, gas leaks, or unsafe conditions immediately
• Ensure no smoking/open flame in prohibited areas

5. Incident Reporting & Response

• Report accidents, thefts, trespassing, or any unusual incidents promptly
• Maintain Daily Occurrence Register (DOR) / Log Book accurately
• Assist in first-response during emergencies until help arrives
• Coordinate with local police when required

6. Housekeeping & Discipline Support

• Ensure the gate area and guard post are clean and organized
• Enforce factory rules
• Assist management in maintaining discipline at the premises

7. Attendance & Workforce Monitoring

• Monitor employee attendance at entry/exit (biometric)
• Track overtime workers and night-shift personnel

8. Asset & Scrap Control

• Monitor movement of scrap, waste, and recyclable material
• Prevent unauthorized disposal or removal of scrap
• Ensure weighment slips and gate passes are verified for scrap vehicles
