📢 WE'RE HIRING – BARISTA ☕
📍 Location: Best Friends Cafe, Mira Road
Love coffee and enjoy creating great experiences for customers? Best Friends Cafe is looking for a skilled, energetic, and passionate Barista to join our growing team!
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve espresso-based coffees, hot and cold beverages
• Operate and maintain the espresso machine, grinder, and bar equipment
• Ensure consistency in coffee taste, presentation, and quality
• Follow standard recipes, measurements, and café SOPs
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee bar and equipment
• Monitor coffee beans, milk, syrups, and bar inventory
• Minimise wastage and report stock requirements to the Café Manager
• Take customer orders and recommend beverages when required
• Deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Support the café team during busy hours and weekends
Requirements:
• Previous Barista experience preferred
• Good knowledge of espresso, milk steaming, and coffee preparation
• Basic latte art skills will be an advantage
• Passionate about coffee and customer service
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Clean, well-groomed, punctual, and responsible
• Ability to work in a fast-paced café environment
• Willing to work 6 days a week with 1 weekly off
• Weekend availability is mandatory
