Job brief

We are looking for a competent Restaurant Server to take and deliver orders. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences.

Food server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you.

Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.

Full Job Description

·      Greet customers, make suggestions, answer and present the menu

·      Answer all questions about beverages and the food

·      Thorough knowledge of the full menu including daily specials, ingredients, and allergens

·      Familiarity with the beverage list — wines, cocktails, fresh juices, regional specialities

·      Comfortable upselling thoughtfully without being pushy

·      Take orders and send them to kitchen staff through the POS system

·      Ensure quality service in the dining room and serve meals

·      Prepare and serve beverages

·      Punchin KOTS

·      Prepare the bills for beverages and meals ordered, take the cash and make change, and then balance daily transactions

·      Use sales techniques to retain customers and attract more

·      Ensuring the restaurant setup is ready for the shift.

·      Apply health regulations relating to cleanliness

·      Apply safety regulations

·      Comply with equipment usage guidelines

·      Comply with maintenance guidelines for the restaurant

·      Ensure your work area is clean

·      Organize your work and work area professionally

·      Clean and clear the dining room tables

·      Do all other tasks as required by the supervisor

What We’re Looking For

• Secondary(10th Pass)

• 2–3 years of experience in a restaurant, café, resort, or hotel F&B role

• Freshers with Degree/Diploma in Hotel Managment can also apply.

• Fluency in Hindi and English — essential for serving both domestic and international guests

• Knowledge of Marathi is a strong advantage for connecting with local and regional guests

• Warm, confident personality with genuine love for hosting and people

• Familiarity with the Uttan / Bhayandar / Mira Road area preferred

• Calm, adaptable, and dependable during busy weekend and holiday seasons

• Basic food safety awareness; certification (FSSAI or equivalent) preferred

You’ll need to shift effortlessly between warm Hindi conversation with a family from Borivali and polished English service for guests from overseas and make both feel equally at home.
