Job Description
Patient Diagnostics: Examine teeth, gums, and oral tissues using dental instruments and diagnostic equipment like digital X-rays.
Treatment Planning: Develop and communicate customized oral health treatment plans to patients, discussing risks, benefits, and costs.
Restorative Procedures: Treat dental decay by removing cavities, placing fillings, and performing root canal therapy.
Prosthodontics: Design, fit, and place dental crowns, bridges, veneers, and full or partial dentures.
Surgical Interventions: Perform tooth extractions, minor oral surgeries, and administer local anesthesia safely.
Preventative Care: Conduct routine dental cleanings, apply sealants, and provide education on proper brushing, flossing, and nutrition.
Patient Management: Manage anxious patients, treat dental emergencies, and refer complex cases to specialized orthodontists or oral surgeons.
Clinic Administration: Maintain precise electronic health records (EHR) and supervise dental hygienists, assistants, and receptionists.
