Production / Manufacturing Head

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end garment production for bridal, couture, and occasion wear collections.
• Supervise daily factory operations including cutting, stitching, embroidery, finishing, and quality checks.
• Coordinate with the design team to understand garment requirements, handwork details, fittings, and deadlines.
• Plan and monitor production schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Handle and manage:
• Tailors
• Karigars
• Embroidery teams
• Finishing staff
• Sampling unit
• Maintain high-quality standards for stitching, fitting, finishing, and hand embroidery work.
• Ensure proper usage and management of fabrics, trims, and production materials to minimize wastage.
• Monitor luxury handwork techniques such as:
• Dabka
• Zardozi
• Sequins
• Mirror work
• Threadwork
• Beadwork
• Hand embroidery
• Conduct regular quality inspections during every production stage.
• Coordinate fittings and alterations with the sales/store team.
• Maintain production records, job cards, inventory movement, and workflow tracking.
• Ensure discipline, productivity, and smooth communication within the factory team.
• Handle urgent bridal orders and last-minute production challenges efficiently.
• Work closely with vendors, dyers, fabric suppliers, and embroidery units.
• Assist in collection launches, festive production planning, and bulk production management.
• Ensure proper maintenance of machinery and production equipment.
