Location: Mohali, Punjab
Experience: 3–5 Years
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month (Depending on experience)
Industry Preference: Electronics Manufacturing (LED Lighting, Inverters, Batteries, Power Electronics, EMS, Electrical Products)
Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Purchase Officer to manage procurement activities for our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in sourcing electronic and electrical components, vendor management, purchase planning, and inventory coordination. Candidates from the LED lighting, inverter, battery, power electronics, or related electronics manufacturing industries will be preferred.
- Key ResponsibilitiesProcure electronic, electrical, and mechanical components as per production requirements.
- Source and develop new vendors while maintaining relationships with existing suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost-effective procurement.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely material availability.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, and Quality departments for procurement requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted material supply.
- Compare quotations, conduct cost analysis, and finalize suppliers.
- Follow up with vendors regarding deliveries, quality issues, and documentation.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase reports.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.
- Required SkillsStrong knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.
- Experience in sourcing electronic and electrical components.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of ERP software, MS Excel, and procurement documentation.
- Good analytical, communication, and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple procurement activities.
Preferred Industry ExperienceCandidates having experience in any of the following industries will be given preference:
- LED Lighting Manufacturing
- Inverter Manufacturing
- Battery Manufacturing
- Power Electronics
- Electrical & Electronics Manufacturing
- EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services)
- Educational QualificationBachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
