Area Manager

An Area Manager in the food industry oversees the operations, performance, and profitability of multiple restaurant, café, bakery, or food retail locations within a designated region. They ensure each outlet meets company standards for quality, customer service, food safety, and financial performance while leading and developing store managers.

Job Description:

Manage the daily operations of multiple food outlets within the assigned area.

Monitor sales, profitability, and operational performance, implementing strategies to achieve business targets.

Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate store managers and staff to ensure high performance.

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and company operational standards.

Analyze sales reports, inventory levels, labor costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve efficiency.

Conduct regular store visits, audits, and performance reviews.

Resolve customer complaints and operational issues promptly.

Coordinate marketing campaigns, promotions, and new product launches across all locations.

Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize inventory to reduce waste.
