Job Description
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
Measure, cut, and shape metal materials using tools such as grinders, cutting torches
Assemble fabricated parts using bolts, rivets (basic welding knowledge often required)
Align and fit components to ensure proper structure and function
Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications
Perform repairs, modifications, and maintenance of metal structures
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Follow workplace safety standards and use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Work closely with welders, engineers, and supervisors
Good knowledge of fabrication techniques and tools
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy materials
Understanding of safety practices in industrial environments
