Job Description

Senior Accountant (Accounting, Administration & Logistics Oversight)

Location: Kandivali (W), Mumbai (Share Auto from Kandivali & Borivali Station Both)

Company: Jaskon International – Chemical Trading Firm

Compensation: ₹20,000–35,000/month (based on experience)

Perks: Upto ₹3 Lakh Mediclaim, Direct mentorship under CEO, Mon–Sat (10:00 AM – 7:15 PM)


Job Description (JD)

Core Accounting & Compliance

  • Manage purchase and sales cycles in Tally Prime (POs, invoices, debit/credit notes, e-way bills, warehouse intimation letters, etc.).
  • Handle compliance: GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9), TDS/TCS monthly returns, Income Tax Returns, and Job Work filings.
  • Configure product, customer/supplier, and expense masters in Tally.
  • Perform daily reconciliations (purchase, sales, bank, expenses) and pass journal voucher entries.
  • Obtain account and ledger confirmations before year closing.

Office, Email & Staff Management

  • Use AI tools (ChatGPT/Gemini) for HSN code research, drafting emails, and vendor/customer searches.
  • Follow up on payments with debtors/suppliers while maintaining relationships.
  • Reduce senior workload via bulk e-invoicing, automated GST filing, and complete office handling.
  • Ensure daily reporting on pending orders, stock levels, payments, and collections.

Logistics & Tech Oversight

  • Coordinate with warehouse staff, transporters, banks, and suppliers for smooth operations.
  • Manage AMC renewals, utility bill payments, and troubleshoot office tech issues (Wi-Fi, printers, etc.).
  • Optimize costs for courier bookings and office supplies.

Strategic Initiatives

  • Identify repetitive tasks and propose automation solutions (e.g., Tally Prime features, bank statement mapping).
  • Prepare reports proactively (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually).

Import/Export Documentation

  • Handle documentation for imports (Bills of Entry, Customs Clearance, DGFT compliance, LC, insurance, duty drawback, etc.).
  • Manage exports (Shipping Bills, Certificates of Origin, Packing Lists, Quality Certificates, Forex Hedging, ETA, clearing days, etc.).



Job Specification (JS)

Mandatory Skills

  • Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime expertise: Company creation, ledger/group management, inventory setup, voucher entry, statutory configuration, GST/TDS/TCS reporting, reconciliation.
  • Compliance knowledge: 3+ years handling GST, TDS, import/export compliance in chemical trading.
  • Accounting & Documentation: Strong skills in invoice verification, reconciliation, import/export documentation, audit-ready records.
  • Technology fluency: Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, reconciliation sheets), Google Workspace, MS Office, remote tools (Anydesk/TeamViewer).
  • Industry-specific knowledge: Chemical trading practices, HSN classification, hazardous goods documentation, batch tracking, inward/outward stock movement.
