Accounts And Tax Executive - GST/TDS

An Accounts and Tax Assistant supports the finance department by managing daily bookkeeping, processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, and preparing tax documents (such as ITRs and GST returns). Key Responsibilities

• Accounting & Bookkeeping: Data entry for sales, purchases, and payments into Tally or other ERP systems, bank reconciliation, and managing petty cash.
• Tax Compliance: Preparing and filing Income Tax Returns (ITR), TDS, and GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).
• Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss accounts.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate digital and physical financial records, filing documents, and verifying invoices.
• Customer/Vendor Support: Responding to queries regarding billing, payments, and tax-related issues. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or M.Com.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software like Tally ERP or SAP.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and statutory compliance.
