Kanodia & Chauhan (Chartered Accountants) is hiring an experienced Accountant for our Malad West office. The ideal candidate will act as the primary liaison between clients and our audit team, managing books up to finalization and facilitating audits.

## Job Overview

* Position: Accountant / Accounts Executive

* Location: Malad West, Mumbai

* Experience: 4 to 5 years in auditing and accounting (CA firm experience preferred)

* Education: B.Com Graduate

* Salary: ₹40,000 - ₹50,000 per month (depending on experience)

## Key Responsibilities## Audit Preparation

* Extract and organize ledger balances.

* Maintain accurate depreciation schedules.

* Prepare comprehensive audit working papers.

* Organize vendor and customer ledgers.

## Data Reconciliation

* Perform high-volume bank statement reconciliations.

* Reconcile GST Input Tax Credit (ITC) against GSTR-2B.

* Resolve inter-company balance discrepancies.

## Compliance & Finalization

* Maintain client books up to finalization.

* Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards and Income Tax laws.

* Compute and verify TDS and GST liabilities.

* Calculate advance tax amounts before filing.

## Liaison & Verification

* Coordinate with clients to resolve accounting queries.

* Supply necessary financial documents to audit managers.

* Verify purchase orders, invoices, and expense vouchers.

* Review physical bills to ensure strong internal controls.

## Requirements and Qualifications

* Education: B.Com degree is mandatory.

* Experience: Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on accounting and auditing experience.

* Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in TallyPrime/Tally.ERP 9.

* MS Excel: Strong command over VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data validation.
