Backend Developer

Purpose: The Back-End Engineer is responsible for designing and maintaining the server-side architecture, APIs, and database systems. This role ensures the seamless operation of web and mobile applications by delivering scalable, secure, and efficient back-end solutions.

Major Tasks & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side logic and APIs using Python frameworks such as Django and Flask.

• Design, optimize, and manage relational and non-relational database schemas to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.

• Collaborate with the front-end engineering team to enable seamless communication between client-side interfaces and server-side data.

• Implement and manage security measures, including authentication and authorization protocols, to safeguard applications.

• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize server-side code for scalability.

• Document back-end workflows and API specifications for ease of integration and maintenance. Occasional Duties

• Participate in architectural discussions to design scalable systems.

• Conduct performance tests and security audits to ensure robustness.

Education Level Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Work Experience 1 years Described Work Experience 1+ years in back-end development, with expertise in Python frameworks and database management.

Skills & Abilities

• Strong programming skills in Python, with hands-on experience in Django or Flask.

• Proficiency in database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT). Relevant Skills

• Back-End Development, API Design, Security Implementation, Database Optimization, Scalability. Preferred Background

• Experience in building scalable back-end solutions for B2B or SaaS applications.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
