Job Description
Job Description: Billing & Accounts ExecutiveCompany: Vijay Travels
Location: Mumbai
Department: Accounts
Experience Required: 1–3 years
Employment Type: Full-time
- Key Responsibilities
- Logsheet & BillingCheck and verify daily / monthly logsheets received from operations team
- Prepare and maintain logsheets in Excel (km, hours, trips, duty details)
- Ensure accuracy of data before billing
- Raise customer invoices in Tally based on approved logsheets and contract terms
- Accounting & EntriesEnter sales, receipts, and adjustments in Tally
- Maintain proper customer-wise billing records
- Support loose sheet entries and reconciliation with system data
- Assist in ledger scrutiny and basic reconciliations
- TDS & GST SupportBasic understanding of TDS provisions (mainly applicable sections for transport/services)
- Assist in TDS deduction tracking and reconciliation
- Basic knowledge of GST (taxable value, GST rate, invoice format, HSN/SAC where applicable)
- Support in preparing data for GST and TDS filings
- Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Tally (ERP)
- Excellent Excel skills (formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic reports)
- Experience in billing, invoicing, and logsheet-based operations
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Experience
- Experience in travel, transport, fleet, or service industry
- Handling logsheet-based or trip-based billing
- Exposure to corporate or government client billing
