Job Description
Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled CCTV Technician responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of surveillance systems including analog and WiFi/IP cameras. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with DVR/NVR systems, networking basics, and on-site servicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems (Analog & IP/WiFi cameras)
- Set up and troubleshoot DVRs, NVRs, and remote viewing systems
- Diagnose and repair issues in cameras, cabling, connectors, and recording devices
- Configure network settings (IP addressing, port forwarding, router setup)
- Ensure proper camera placement, focus, and coverage
- Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades
- Respond to service calls and provide on-site support
- Maintain records of installations and service reports
- Required SkillsStrong knowledge of analog CCTV systems and IP/WiFi cameras
- Experience with DVR/NVR configuration
- Basic understanding of computer networks (LAN/WAN)
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues
- Familiarity with cabling (coaxial, CAT6, connectors, crimping)
- Basic knowledge of mobile/remote monitoring setup
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma / Certification in Electronics, Electrical, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in CCTV installation and maintenance
- Freshers with strong practical knowledge may also apply
Preferred
- Experience with brands like Hikvision, CP Plus, Dahua, etc.
- Knowledge of biometric systems or access control is a plus
