CCTV Technician

Job Description:

As a CCTV Technician at BVM INFOTECH, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of CCTV surveillance systems. You will work closely with our customers to understand their security needs and ensure that our systems are properly set up and functioning at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation: Install, configure, and test CCTV systems (cameras, DVRs, NVRs, monitors, etc.) for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
• Maintenance: Conduct regular checks on CCTV systems, ensuring they are working correctly and making repairs or upgrades as needed.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot any issues with CCTV systems, including cameras, wiring, recording devices, and software.
• Customer Support: Provide customer support by educating clients on the operation of their CCTV systems and troubleshooting issues remotely or in-person.
• Technical Support: Offer ongoing technical support for CCTV systems, including firmware updates, software configuration, and system optimization.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installation, service, and repairs performed, including system configurations, parts replaced, and customer feedback.
• Compliance: Ensure all installations and repairs comply with industry standards, building regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or similar role in the security systems industry.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV systems (analog and IP-based), including installation and configuration.
• Familiarity with networking protocols, video recording systems, and surveillance equipment.
