Job SummaryBombay Island Coffee Company is looking for passionate and hardworking Commi Chefs (1, 2 & 3) to join our kitchen team at our Andheri and Vikhroli outlets. The ideal candidate should have experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, hygiene standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment.

• Key ResponsibilitiesCommi Chef 1Handle assigned kitchen section independently
• Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
• Assist in inventory management and stock control
• Supervise junior kitchen staff when required
• Maintain hygiene and food safety standards
• Coordinate with Head Chef/Sous Chef for daily operations
• Commi Chef 2Prepare ingredients and dishes as per recipes and SOPs
• Support senior chefs in kitchen operations
• Ensure cleanliness of workstation and kitchen equipment
• Maintain portion control and quality standards
• Assist in stock rotation and storage
• Commi Chef 3Assist in basic food preparation and mise en place
• Support kitchen team during service hours
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Follow instructions from senior chefs
• Help with kitchen prep and storage activities
• RequirementsMinimum 0–5 years of relevant kitchen experience
• Experience in café, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred
• Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene
• Ability to work in rotational shifts
• Team player with positive attitude and willingness to learn
