Job Description- Customer Service Executive – Voice / Chat / Email (Insurance)
Location: Andheri/ Mumbai
About the Role
We are looking for a Customer Service Executive with prior exposure to the insurance domain to handle customer interactions across voice, chat, and email channels. The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, communicative, and comfortable handling queries related to insurance products, policies, and services.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions via voice calls, chat, and emails
Respond to customer queries related to insurance policies, coverage details, renewals, endorsements, claims status, and general support
Provide accurate information and ensure first-time resolution wherever possible
Maintain proper documentation of customer interactions in CRM systems
Follow defined processes, compliance guidelines, and quality standards
Coordinate with internal teams for query resolution and escalations
Ensure a positive customer experience by maintaining professionalism and empathy in all interactions
Eligibility Criteria
Prior experience in any type of insurance (Life, Health, General, Motor, etc.) is mandatory
Education:
Graduate preferred
12th pass candidates are also eligible
Experience in customer service / contact center / support role will be an advantage
Skills & Competencies
Decent communication skills (English & Hindi; regional language is a plus)
Ability to explain insurance concepts clearly to customers
Good listening and problem-solving skills
Basic computer knowledge and comfort with CRM/tools
Customer-centric attitude with attention to detail
