Job Description
- HAVING OWN TWO WHEELER IS MUST.
- Collect garments, linens, and laundry items from customers/stores as per assigned route.
- Deliver cleaned garments safely and on time to customers.
- Verify garment count and customer details during pickup and delivery.
- Ensure all delivery challans/invoices are properly signed or acknowledged.
- Handling of GarmentsHandle all garments carefully to avoid damage, mix-up, or loss.
- Ensure packed garments remain clean, dry, and wrinkle-free during transportation.
- Immediately report any damaged or missing items to the supervisor.
- Maintain polite and professional behavior with customers at all times.
- Coordinate with customers regarding delivery timing and location.
- Address basic customer queries and escalate complaints to the concerned department.
- Collect cash, online payment confirmations, or pending balances when required.
- Submit collected cash and payment records to the office/accounts department daily.
- Route & Time ManagementFollow assigned delivery schedules and routes efficiently.
- Ensure timely pickups and deliveries to maintain service standards.
- Inform the supervisor in case of delays, vehicle breakdowns, or route issues.
- Vehicle Maintenance & SafetyMaintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle/bike/van.
- Ensure vehicle documents, license, and insurance are valid at all times.
- Follow traffic rules and safety regulations while driving.
- Documentation & ReportingMaintain daily pickup and delivery records.
- Update delivery status through registers, apps, or management systems as instructed.
- Report operational issues, customer feedback, or incidents promptly.
- Wear company uniform and ID card during duty hours.
- Maintain punctuality, discipline, and professional conduct.
- Follow company SOPs, hygiene standards, and operational instructions.
