Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Overall Responsible for smooth operation of Municipal Water/ Sewage/ Strom Water Plant including all Electrical equipment of the plant in order to keep the assets in healthy condition.

2. While he is responsible for overall operation of the plant, his expertise shall be on electrical equipment. He shall get all necessary support from site team for maintenance of mechanical equipment.

3. He is responsible for planning and handing manpower for overall maintenance and emergency breakdowns.

4. He shall schedule Maintenance of the plant as per site requirement and condition.

5. He shall co-ordinate to carry out all the maintenance activities of various equipment like pump, motor, valves, LT Panel, Battery Charger, Transformer, EOT Crane, Air Compressor & Surge Vessel etc.

6. He shall take necessary action at the time of breakdowns and follow the directives given by Clients.

7. He shall co-ordinate and communicate with client time to time.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. B.E / Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Government recognized institute.

2. 3 -10 yrs. experience as a supervisor in operation & maintenance or refurbishment in Pumping Stations/ Substation/ Power Plants / Electrical Equipment Manufacturers / High Voltage Plants and Environment.

3. Should have good communication and time management skills.

4. Must have knowledge of control circuits, power circuit, single line diagram, relays, circuit breakers, HT & LT Panel, HT & LT motor, Transformer, DG set, EOT cranes, DCDB battery chargers etc.

Education

UG :B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Diploma in Electrical
