Job Description
Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician cum Wireman to join our technical field team. The candidate will be responsible for electrical wiring, installation, maintenance, and concealed wiring work related to our Internet (ISP)and Cable TV (CATV) infrastructure.
The role involves both new installation and service maintenance, requiring good practical knowledge of concealed wiring layouts, fiber and coaxial cable routing, and safe power connections for network equipment.
- Key Responsibilities:Perform concealed wiring, electrical installations, and cable routing for ISP and CATV setups.
- Handle fiber optic, LAN, and coaxial cable installations for broadband and TV networks.
- Troubleshoot electrical and wiring issues at customer sites and network distribution points.
- Install and maintain routers, ONUs, set-top boxes, and other network devices.
- Ensure proper termination, earthing, and safety compliance in all electrical connections.
- Work closely with technical teams for service activations, fault rectifications, and new connections.
- Maintain accurate records of jobs completed, material used, and route maps.
- Identify and report potential electrical or wiring hazards.
- Support installation of UPS, stabilizers, and power backup systems for network operations.
