Job OverviewWe are looking for a Fabric Merchandiser who has strong knowledge of woven and knitted fabrics and can manage customer enquiries, fabric sourcing, product development, supplier coordination, and order execution from enquiry to delivery.

• Key ResponsibilitiesHandle customer enquiries and understand fabric requirements.
• Source fabrics from mills, manufacturers, and suppliers.
• Develop new fabric options as per customer specifications.
• Coordinate sampling, lab dips, strike-offs, and approvals.
• Prepare quotations and costing.
• Negotiate prices, lead times, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Track orders and ensure timely execution and dispatch.
• Coordinate with suppliers, processors, transporters, and customers.
• Resolve quality and delivery-related issues.
• Maintain records of enquiries, quotations, orders, and supplier information.
• Stay updated on new fabric developments and market trends.
• Required SkillsGood knowledge of woven and knitted fabrics.
• Understanding of dyeing, printing, finishing, GSM, fabric construction, and quality parameters.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good follow-up and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and email communication.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple orders.
• Preferred QualificationsGraduate or Diploma in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, or a related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in fabric merchandising, textile trading, sourcing, garment export houses, buying houses, or textile manufacturing.
