Factory Supervisor – Roles & Responsibilities

Supervise daily production activities and ensure smooth factory operations.

Manage workers in machine shop, assembly shop, and other production areas.

Allocate manpower efficiently to achieve daily production targets.

Plan and monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders.

Ensure availability of raw materials, components, and tools required for production.

Coordinate with vendors and purchase team for timely procurement of materials.

Monitor inventory levels and maintain proper stock records.

Ensure all products meet company quality standards before dispatch.

Identify production issues, delays, or machine breakdowns and take corrective action.

Maintain discipline, productivity, and teamwork among factory staff.

Ensure proper maintenance and smooth functioning of machines and equipment.

Implement and monitor workplace safety procedures and company policies.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the factory premises.

Prepare daily production, attendance, and performance reports for management.

Suggest process improvements to increase productivity and reduce wastage.

Train and guide workers on production methods and safety standards.
