Heavy Vehicle Driver

The Field Service Driver is responsible for transporting technicians, equipment, and materials to client locations while ensuring safe, timely, and efficient service delivery. The role supports daily field operations and requires coordination with service teams, adherence to schedules, and basic vehicle upkeep.

Requirements

• Valid driving license (TR license is mandatory)
• Proven experience in field/service driving
• Good knowledge of local routes and client locations
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance
• Physically fit to assist with loading/unloading
• Punctual, reliable, and disciplined
• Basic communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Drive service teams to customer locations as per daily schedules
• Ensure timely pickup and drop of technicians and equipment
• Assist in loading/unloading tools, chemicals, or service materials
• Plan routes efficiently to optimize travel time and fuel usage
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it is in good working condition
• Perform daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, brakes, tires, etc.)
• Maintain logbooks for travel, fuel, and vehicle maintenance
• Follow all traffic rules and company safety guidelines
• Support technicians during field operations, if required
• Report delays, breakdowns, or incidents promptly to the supervisor
