Job Summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of the café premises, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

• Key ResponsibilitiesCleaning & HygieneClean and sanitize customer seating areas, tables, chairs, and counters.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain café floors throughout operating hours.
• Clean washrooms and ensure adequate availability of consumables such as soap, tissue, and hand wash.
• Dispose of garbage regularly and maintain waste segregation as per company guidelines.
• Clean glass surfaces, doors, windows, and café fixtures.
• Kitchen & Back-of-House SupportWash and sanitize utensils, crockery, cutlery, and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing and storage areas.
• Assist in keeping the kitchen and preparation areas clean and organized.
• Ensure cleaning schedules are followed as per food safety standards.
• Safety & ComplianceFollow all hygiene, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and as instructed.
• Report maintenance issues, pest sightings, or safety hazards to the Café Manager immediately.
• Adhere to company grooming and hygiene standards.
