HSE Manager

Urgent Requirement for HSE Manager, Pan India – Location. Minimum/General Experience. – 8–10 years of HSE experience, with a focus on gas plants, refineries, or petrochemical projects. Minimum Education. -  Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering along with NEBOSH Diploma/IGC, IOSH, CSP (Certified Safety Professional) Core Job Responsibilities & Duties. -  HSE Plan Development: Create project-specific HSE plans, including fire evacuation, emergency responses, and risk mitigation strategies.  Permit to Work System: Establish, manage, and audit the Permit to Work system to ensure high-risk activities are authorized and safe.  Hazard Identification (HAZOP/HIRA): Lead hazard identification studies, such as HAZOP (Hazard and Operability), JSA (Job Safety Analysis), and HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment), prior to construction and commissioning.  Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, national, and international standards, such as OSHA, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001.  Site Inspections & Audits: Conduct regular, daily, and weekly site inspections of PPE, heavy equipment, and fire fighting systems.  Incident Investigation: Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations into incidents, near-misses, or accidents to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence.  Training & Induction: Develop and lead safety training, tool box talks, and induction programs for all new employees and contractors.  Chemical Management: Oversee the handling, storage, and safe use of hazardous materials, ensuring Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are available.  Skills: Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM), fire safety standards, cryogenic hazards, and excellent communication skills.
