Job Description

  • Manage imports of technical components - Battery related components, electronics or related technical products

• Coordinate with China suppliers for documentation and shipment readiness

• Ensure compliance with DGFT, customs, and Indian regulations

• Handle key documents: MSDS, UN38.3, BIS

• Support NPI with R&D and production teams

• Validate BOM and manage HS code classification

• Coordinate with CHA for customs clearance

• Manage risks (delays, compliance, supplier issues)

• Drive cost optimization (duty, freight, sourcing)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

• 8-12 years in technical imports (Li-ion / electronics preferred)

• Knowledge of LFP, NMC, and BMS systems

• Experience with China sourcing
