Interior Fit-out Supervisor

Job Title: Site Supervisor – Commercial Interior Projects Department: Projects / Execution Reports To: Project Manager/ Head / Director Location: Site-Based (Commercial Interior Fit-outs) Job Description (JD) Role Overview The Site Supervisor is responsible for end-to-end site execution of commercial interior fit-out projects under a Design + Build model. The role ensures timely execution, quality compliance, accurate material planning, and manpower deployment in line with approved drawings, BOQ, project schedules, and company policies. Key Responsibilities 1. Site Execution & Supervision  Supervise daily site activities across civil, carpentry, gypsum, ceiling, flooring, painting, glazing, metal, and finishing works.  Ensure execution strictly as per approved drawings and specifications.  Maintain execution quality aligned with design intent.  Conduct daily inspections and resolve site-level issues. 2. Material Planning & Ordering  Estimate and raise accurate material indents based on BOQ, drawings, and site progress.  Ensure timely ordering of materials to avoid project delays.  Coordinate with procurement team as per company material procurement policy.  Verify quantities received on site and maintain material inward records.  Control material wastage within permissible norms.  Avoid over-ordering or under-ordering through proper planning and measurement checks. 3. Manpower Planning & Deployment  Arrange and deploy skilled labor (carpenters, gypsum workers, painters, tile masons, electricians, plumbers, etc.) as per project requirements.  Arrange sundry / unskilled labor for material handling, cleaning, shifting, and support activities.  Ensure manpower deployment aligns with project schedule and productivity targets.  Follow company-approved vendor/labor policy while mobilizing labor.  Monitor attendance, productivity, and discipline of labor teams.  Adjust manpower strength based on work stages and site requirements. Coordination  Coordinate with design team, Project Manager, MEP consultants, and subcontractors.  Ensure proper MEP and interior work sequencing.  Attend site meetings and provide accurate progress updates.  Raise RFIs (Requests for Information) for design clarifications. 5. Quality Control  Ensure materials used match approved samples and specifications.  Conduct stage-wise inspections before proceeding to next activities.  Ensure mock-ups are completed and approved prior to bulk work.  Minimize rework through proactive supervision. 6. Planning & Progress Monitoring  Execute work as per approved schedule and micro-planning.  Maintain daily progress tracking.  Identify potential delays and escalate in advance.  Support achievement of milestone-based targets. 7. Measurement & Billing Support  Maintain measurement records for executed work.  Assist in subcontractor bill verification based on actual measurements.  Ensure quantity reconciliation for key materials. 8. Documentation & Reporting  Maintain Daily Site Reports (DSR).  Track drawing revisions and maintain latest copies on site.  Maintain material stock register.  Monitor and close snag lists before handover. 9. Safety & Compliance  Ensure 100% PPE compliance on site.  Enforce site safety norms and client-specific safety requirements.  Report unsafe practices immediately. Project Handover  Support final snag rectification.  Ensure all works completed as per approved scope.  Assist in smooth project handover.
