Job Description
- 1. Project Planning & ExecutionDevelop detailed project execution plans, schedules, and milestones.
- Prepare project timelines and resource allocation plans.
- Coordinate project kick-off meetings with internal teams and clients.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of all project activities.
- Ensure execution aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and design intent.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and timelines.
- 2. Client Relationship ManagementAct as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular project review meetings with clients.
- Provide periodic project status updates and progress reports.
- Address client concerns and ensure timely resolution.
- Manage change requests and obtain necessary approvals.
- 3. Budget & Cost ControlPrepare project budgets in coordination with the design and procurement teams.
- Monitor project expenses against approved budgets.
- Track project profitability and cost variances.
- Approve site-related expenditures within delegated authority.
- Recommend cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- 4. Vendor & Contractor ManagementIdentify, evaluate, and onboard contractors and vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and service terms.
- Monitor vendor performance and adherence to timelines.
- Ensure contractors comply with project quality and safety requirements.
- Manage contractor billing and certification processes.
- 5. Procurement & Material ManagementCoordinate procurement schedules based on project timelines.
- Monitor material approvals, ordering, dispatch, and site delivery.
- Ensure timely availability of materials at project sites.
- Track procurement status and resolve supply chain issues.
- Minimize material wastage and inventory losses.
- 6. Site Management & CoordinationConduct regular site visits and inspections.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, designers, and contractors.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor daily progress and address execution challenges.
- Verify measurements and site conditions before execution.
- 7. Quality ControlEstablish project quality benchmarks.
- Conduct periodic quality audits and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards.
- Monitor snag lists and corrective action plans.
- Ensure defect-free project handover.
- 8. Design CoordinationCoordinate with interior designers and architects regarding design updates.
- Review drawings for execution feasibility.
- Resolve site execution issues related to design and technical details.
- Ensure design revisions are properly documented and communicated.
- 9. Risk ManagementIdentify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Anticipate delays, cost overruns, and resource constraints.
- Maintain risk registers and escalation reports.
- Ensure contingency planning for critical project activities.
- 10. Documentation & ReportingMaintain complete project documentation.
- Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports.
- Track project schedules, budgets, variations, and approvals.
- Maintain records of drawings, BOQs, work orders, and contracts.
- Ensure all project documents are updated in project management software.
- 11. Team ManagementLead project coordinators, site engineers, supervisors, and support teams.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Conduct regular review meetings with project teams.
- Mentor and develop team members.
- Promote accountability and collaborative working.
- 12. Health, Safety & ComplianceEnsure compliance with site safety requirements.
- Monitor adherence to statutory regulations and company policies.
- Conduct safety inspections and corrective actions.
- Ensure safe working practices across project sites.
- 13. Project Closure & HandoverPrepare project completion reports.
- Conduct final inspections and snag rectification.
- Obtain client sign-offs and completion certificates.
- Ensure submission of warranties, manuals, and project documentation.
- Manage post-handover support during the defect liability period.
