Job Description
Job Title: Kitchen Helper
Job Summary:
The Kitchen Helper supports chefs and kitchen staff by assisting in food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen. This role ensures smooth kitchen operations and a clean, organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in basic food preparation such as washing, cutting, and peeling vegetables
- Keep the kitchen clean, including work surfaces, utensils, and equipment
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools
- Help in arranging and storing food items properly
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Support chefs during busy hours as required
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain cleanliness
- Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies
Requirements & Skills:
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to follow instructions from chefs and supervisors
- Physically fit to stand for long hours
- Team player with a positive attitude
