Scope of Work 

L1 Level IT Hardware & Networking Engineer Onsite

IT Support:

·      Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

·      Respond to help desk tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner.

·      Install, configure, and upgrade software applications.

·      Train employees on the use of IT systems and software.

·      Maintain an inventory of IT assets and software licenses.

Infrastructure Management:

·      Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, such as servers, desktops, laptops, and peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.).

·      Set up and manage network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

·      Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

·      Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.

·      Ensure security measures are in place, including antivirus software, firewalls, and access controls.

Internet & Website Management:

·      Manage internet connectivity, including setting up and configuring routers and modems.

·      Monitor internet usage and bandwidth consumption.

·      Troubleshoot internet connectivity issues.

·      Implement web filtering and content control policies if required by the organization.

·      Renewal and maintenance of Hosting & Domain for websites of the Companies.

Security Management:

·      Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures.

·      Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

·      Respond to security incidents, such as malware infections or data breaches.

·      Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and best practices.

Documentation and Reporting:

·      Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.

·      Maintain up-to-date documentation of network diagrams, hardware inventory, and software licenses.

·      Generate reports on IT metrics, such as system uptime, help desk ticket resolution time, and security incidents.

Project Management:

·      Plan and execute IT projects, such as network upgrades, system migrations, or software deployments.

·      Coordinate with vendors and contractors for purchasing IT equipment and services.

·      Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.

Continuous Improvement:

·      Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in IT operations.

·      Research and recommend new technologies, tools, and solutions to enhance the organization's IT infrastructure and capabilities.

·      Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in IT management and cybersecurity.

Communication and Collaboration:

·      Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including management, employees, and external vendors.

·      Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and requirements.

·      Participate in IT meetings and discussions to provide input on strategic planning and decision-making.
