• Job Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair laptop hardware issues, including motherboard, display, keyboard, battery, touchpad, SSD/HDD, RAM, hinges, and other internal components.
• Perform on-site and in-house laptop repair services.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, drivers, BIOS, firmware, and software applications.
• Handle warranty and out-of-warranty service cases as per company processes.
• Coordinate with customers for service visits and provide timely updates.
• Maintain accurate service reports, job sheets, and documentation.
• Follow ESD, quality, and safety guidelines during repairs.
• Ensure service calls are completed within the defined TAT and SLA.
• Skills Required:Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in laptop hardware repair (L2).
• Strong knowledge of laptop hardware troubleshooting and component-level replacement.
• Experience in on-site hardware repair and software installation/updates.
• Good understanding of Windows operating systems, drivers, BIOS, and networking basics.
• Ability to diagnose hardware faults independently and provide effective solutions.
• Process-oriented with good documentation and reporting skills.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel for on-site service calls.
• Experience with brands such as HP, Lenovo, Dell, ASUS, Acer, or MSI will be an added advantage.
