Job Description

Job TitleGarment Merchandiser

Job SummaryA Garment Merchandiser is responsible for coordinating between buyers, production teams, suppliers, and quality departments to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery of garments as per buyer requirements. The role involves product development, order management, costing, sourcing, and production follow-up.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with buyers regarding product specifications, samples, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Manage garment orders from development to final shipment.
  • Prepare costing sheets and negotiate prices with vendors and suppliers.
  • Source fabrics, trims, and accessories as per buyer requirements.
  • Follow up with production teams to ensure timely execution.
  • Monitor quality standards and compliance requirements.
  • Track order status and update buyers regularly.
  • Coordinate sampling, approvals, and shipment documentation.
  • Resolve production or quality-related issues.
  • Maintain merchandising reports and order records.
