Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled, professional, and customer-friendly Nail Technician to provide high-quality nail care services to clients. The candidate should have knowledge of nail extensions, nail art, manicure, pedicure, nail hygiene, and latest nail trends while maintaining excellent customer service and salon hygiene standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Nail ServicesThe Nail Technician shall perform professional nail care services including but not limited to:

• Basic & Advanced Manicure
• Basic & Spa Pedicure
• Gel Polish Application
• Nail Extensions (Acrylic, Gel, Poly Gel, Soft Gel Tips, etc.)
• Nail Refilling & Removal
• Nail Art & Nail Designs
• Nail Repair & Nail Strengthening Treatments
• French Nails, Ombre, Chrome, Cat Eye & Trending Nail Designs
• Cuticle Care & Nail Cleaning
• Nail Buffing, Shaping & Finishing

2. Client ConsultationUnderstand client requirements and recommend suitable nail services.

• Suggest nail care treatments based on nail condition.
• Educate clients on after-care and maintenance of nail extensions.
• Upsell premium nail services and nail care products.

3. Hygiene & Safety Maintain proper hygiene and sanitization of all nail tools and equipment.

• Sterilize instruments after every client use.
• Ensure cleanliness of nail station, chairs, and work area.
• Follow salon safety and hygiene standards at all times.

4. Customer ServiceProvide excellent customer experience and maintain polite behavior.

• Attend clients professionally and maintain a positive attitude.
• Handle customer concerns politely and professionally.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with clients.

5. Product & Inventory Management

Maintain proper stock of nail products, gels, paints, tips, brushes, removers, and accessories.

• Inform management about low stock or damaged products.
• Handle salon products carefully to avoid wastage.

6. Trend & Skill DevelopmentStay updated with latest nail trends and techniques.

• Learn new nail art styles and advanced nail systems.
• Participate in training sessions when required.
• Skills RequiredGood knowledge of nail extensions and nail art
• Strong manicure & pedicure skills
• Creativity and attention to detail
• Good communication and customer handling skills
• Knowledge of nail hygiene and sanitization
• Ability to work in a fast-paced salon environment
• Certification in Nail Art / Nail Extension preferred
• Knowledge of trending nail techniques will be an advantage
• Working ConditionsFlexible working hours including weekends and holidays as per salon requirement.
• Must maintain grooming, hygiene, and professional appearance.
• Rules & ConductEmployee must maintain punctuality and discipline.
• Misconduct, theft, fraud, client poaching, misuse of salon products, or breach of confidentiality may result in strict disciplinary/legal action as per laws applicable in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
• Employee shall not disclose salon client data, pricing, or business information to competitors.
