Pastry Chef

Job Summary:We are looking for a creative and skilled Pastry Chef to prepare a variety of high-quality desserts, pastries, cakes, breads, and baked goods while maintaining presentation, taste, and hygiene standards. The candidate will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, inventory management, and ensuring consistency in quality.

• Key Responsibilities:Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, breads, cookies, chocolates, and confectionery items.
• Develop and decorate desserts ensuring premium presentation and taste.
• Manage daily pastry kitchen operations and production schedules.
• Ensure consistency in recipes, portion control, and quality standards.
• Monitor inventory of baking ingredients and coordinate procurement requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the pastry section.
• Innovate and introduce new dessert concepts and seasonal menu items.
• Ensure proper storage of ingredients and minimize wastage.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for timely food delivery.
• Requirements:Proven experience as a Pastry Chef / Bakery Chef / Pastry Cook.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, dessert preparation, and decoration.
• Expertise in pastries, cakes, chocolates, and dessert presentation.
• Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Culinary or bakery certification is preferred.
