About the Role

Cloudytailz is looking for passionate, detail-oriented Mobile Pet Groomers to join our growing team. Unlike a traditional salon setting, you will be the face of our brand in the field, bringing premium grooming services directly to our clients' doorsteps. This role is perfect for a self-motivated professional who loves working one-on-one with animals and enjoys the variety of a mobile workspace.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Service Delivery: Travel to scheduled customer locations to provide high-quality grooming services.

Full-Service Grooming: Perform bathing, brushing, hair cutting/styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and sanitary clips according to breed standards or owner requests.

Health Checks: Conduct initial skin and coat assessments to identify any lumps, parasites, or irritation, and communicate findings to the pet owner.

Client Consultation: Discuss specific styling preferences and temperament needs with the owner before starting the service.

Post-Service Clean-up: This is a critical requirement. You must ensure the grooming area within the customer's premises is thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and restored to its original state (removing all fur, water, and debris) before leaving.

Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and sanitize your own professional grooming kit and tools.

Requirements

Experience: Proven experience as a professional groomer (portfolio or references preferred).

Animal Handling: Deep knowledge of animal behavior and the ability to handle various breeds and temperaments calmly and safely.

Reliability: Strong time-management skills and a commitment to punctuality for scheduled appointments.

Customer Service: Excellent communication skills and a professional, friendly demeanor.

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift pets and stand for extended periods.

Transportation: A valid driver's license and a reliable mode of transport to reach client locations.
