Pharmacist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and patient-focused Retail Pharmacist to join our 24-hour pharmacy team. You will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing expert clinical advice to patients, and overseeing pharmacy technicians. This role requires the flexibility to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, ensuring our community has access to essential healthcare around the clock.

Key Responsibilities

• Prescription Processing: Review and interpret physician orders to ensure correct dosage, identify potential drug interactions, and verify patient allergy profiles.
• Patient Counseling: Provide clear instructions on how to take medications, potential side effects, and storage requirements.
• Night Shift Specifics: Manage emergency walk-ins, ensure the security of controlled substances during late-night hours, and perform deep-clean inventory audits and shelf restocking.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Pharm.D. or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid and active Registered Pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Experience: 1+ years in a retail pharmacy setting (preferred), but open to highly motivated new graduates.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in pharmacy management software (ZOHO- GoFrugal Software)
