Key Responsibilities of a Picker Packer:

• Order Picking: Utilizing inventory systems, pick tickets, or scanners to locate and gather correct items and quantities from warehouse shelves.
• Order Packing: Arranging items securely in appropriate containers, sealing, and labeling packages for shipping.
• Quality Control: Inspecting items for damage, defects, or errors in quantity before shipping to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Inventory Management: Stocking shelves, restocking, performing inventory counts, and reporting inventory discrepancies or shortages.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Keeping the work area clean, safe, and organized, following safety guidelines.
• Shipment Prep: Loading, moving, and transporting finished orders to the shipping area, often using tools like forklifts or dollies.
